Maintenance

This bottle is from a dirt car and is less than 1 year old. The system still deployed the way it should, but all systems should be maintained and undergo regular maintenance ever few months to ensure that the system will go off in case of an emergency.

To go through the system follow these steps:
– Place safety pin back in the activating head
– Loosen set screw, remove cable, and discharge line
– Unscrew activating head off system counter-clockwise with safety pin still installed
– Remove safety pin once activating head is off system and spray head with lubricating grease
– Work around firing pin and reset safety pin by pushing the firing pin back up then replace safety pin
– Blow out discharge lines with air hose and ensure nothing is blocking nozzles
– Check pull cable to ensure it is not damaged or stopped by debris
– Once all have been checked and lubricated, replace activating head back on system until snug
– Replace discharge tubing, pull cable in activating head, and tighten set screw on cable housing

ENSURE CABLE IS SECURED AND COMING OUT THE BACK OF THE ACTIVATING HEAD BEFORE REMOVING SAFETY PIN
